The Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex will commence its 52nd consecutive season of operation with a very busy schedule of events in late May.

The 2011 season at the Western New York high-banked 3/8th mile asphalt oval will get underway on the weekend of May 21st and 22nd. The annual pre-season practice day will take place on Saturday, May 21st, with pit gates opening at 12:00 noon and on track practice running from 1 - 5 pm. The practice session will be open to for all divisions in competition throughout the season at Holland. Grandstand admission is free of charge for the May 21st practice day. The very next day, Sunday, May 22nd, Holland will green flag competition for 2011 with the annual opener sponsored by McKinley Mall of Hamburg, NY. Action will include qualifying heats and main events for the six weekly racing divisions including the NASCAR National Overhead Door Pro Modifieds, Late Models of Tomorrow, Bank of Holland Chargers, Casey’s TQ Midget Series, 4-cylinder Hornets, and the M&M U-Pull-It Figure 8 Cars. Pit Gates will open at 11:30 AM, grandstand gates will open at 2:00, and racing will get underway at 3:00 PM.

The following weekend will feature two days of racing on the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Racing will move to its regular Saturday night date on Saturday, May 28th with all six divisions in action. The regular Saturday time schedule will take effect, with pit gates opening at 3:30 and grandstand gates opening at 4:45. Heat racing for all but the NASCAR National Overhead Door Pro Modifieds will take place at 5:00. Pro Modified heats and features for all divisions will get underway at 7:05 PM.

On Memorial Day Monday, May 30th, the annual Faster Pastor race will take to the track, as this popular annual tradition continues. Area clergy will take to the track in speedway provided 4-cylinder racers as a fund-raising venture for their congregations and ministries. In addition, the INEX Legends will make a special appearance at Holland, with the Bank of Holland Chargers and 4-cylinder Hornets rounding out the slate. On Monday, May 30th, grandstand gates will open at 3:00, the Faster Pastor event will begin at 3:30, and practice for the Legends, Chargers, and Hornets will follow the Faster Pastor race. Heats and features for those divisions will get underway at 6:30.

Regular adult admission is just $10, with students ages 8-15 admitted for just $6. Children 7 and under are admitted free of charge. The family pass will admit two adults and all associated youngsters up to 15 years of age for just $25.
