The Race of Champions (RoC) Modified Tour marks their return to the Holland highbanks for a 100 lap affair on Saturday, June 30th. Race of Champions Series Director Andrew Harpell stated that the return is “a co-promotion with the Bennett family in what should prove to be an exciting return of the Modifieds to Holland.” Holland General Manager Timothy Bennett stated that “we as a whole are excited about the return of the Modifieds. They will be a good addition to the current schedule that has already been released” Bennett added. The big block RoC Modifieds will be joined by the Late Models, Bank of Holland Chargers, NASCAR Hornets and the Casey’s TQ Midget Series.

The complex is still in the works with solidifying a tire manufacturer for the 2012 season. “It has taken longer that we have thought but we will be making a decision very soon” says Holland General Manager Timothy Bennett. With that being said, Bennett added that “John White from Spencer and I are working together and we will be on the same tire”. White and Bennett are also finalizing dates for the Upstate Pro Modified Series; a challenge series between Holland and Spencer. “There have been many competitors that have come to Holland that regularly campaigns at Spencer and have done very well to adapt to the highbanks” says Holland PR Director Steven Petty. “2011 National Overhead Door NASCAR Pro Modified Champion Amy Catalano raced at both and was successful at both tracks” Petty added.

At the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex, your party is a guaranteed good time.
