The Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex, along side Chemung Speedrome and Spencer Speedway, are working together for the third straight season putting together the Upstate Pro Modified Series between the three facilities.

The series dates for Holland are May 26th, June 23rd, July 14th, August 4th and August 25th. The dates at Spencer Speedway are May 18th, July 6th, July 27th, August 17th and September 7th. The series will head to Chemung Speedrome on June 24th and July 29th. “Both races on each date will count towards the series” says Chemung Owner John White.

Drivers will circle July 14, 2012 on their schedules for the 13th running of the prestigious George Decker Memorial 100 at Holland. The May 18th date at Spencer is part of their 2012 season opening event and September 7th date is the Fall Open 75 to close the gates on the season at the Williamson half-mile oval. The two dates at the Chemung Speedrome will feature twin 25 lap features for their premier division. Point fund information will be announced in the near future.

The management of the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex announced in early March that Hoosier Tires will be the manufacturer of choice for the NASCAR Pro Modifieds however Goodyear Tires will still be on the Bank of Holland Chargers and the McClurg Auto Group Late Models. “The tires must be purchased from the Speedway” said Holland General Manager Timothy Bennett. “There will be a scanning system in place so we will know where the tires are purchased from. We decided to go with the same tires as Spencer and Chemung” Bennett added.

Speedway management would also like to welcome back the Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency for their second season as a marketing partner. The Getzoni Agency has offices throughout Western New York with offices in Akron, Chaffee, Cheektowaga, Salamanca and Williamsville. The annual McKinley Mall Car Show is set for May 5 through May 12 at the popular mall in Hamburg, New York. Load in for the cars will be on May 4 at 9pm and load out will be on May 12 after the mall closes. “The car show is a great opportunity to demonstrate the value of a promotion of a racecar” said Holland GM Timothy Bennett.

On Thursday June 21, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, the Holland Motorsports Complex will be hosting a Boy Scout Day Field Trip. For seven dollars, scouts will have the opportunity to ride in a racecar, an educational hands on tour of the facility, enjoy a hot lunch and receive two free tickets to any regularly scheduled race at the 3/8th’s oval.
