Dave Wilson Jr would take over the lead from Brown on lap four and began to open up the lead over Brown and Vona. Jim Loffredo raced his way by Trevor Pettit for fourth place and began reeling in the top three. A car that was on the move early on in the main event was Mark Hoch who was making his first start of the season. Hoch started 12th on the grid and by the halfway point, was inside the top four. Jim Loffredo’s strong top five run would end at the halfway point as he would suffer a flat left rear tire.  As Wilson would hit lap traffic, Hoch would continue his charge towards the front as he passed Vona to take over third place. The races first caution would come out on lap 43 as Chris Handley would loop his racer in turn three. The restart had Wilson, Brown and Hoch up front with Hoch and Vona making contact and both hitting the turn four wall. The restart would see Wilson  up front and then drive on to what would appear to be his first win of the season. But Wilson failed post race inspection, giving the win to Northem for what would be his second win on the season.

With Skora and Jankowiak at the rear of the field, that moved Jimmy Zacharias into second for the restart with Fiebelkorn, Tommy and Amy Catalano in the top five. The five lap shootout would see Zacharias go underneath Dietz for the lead and would pull to even terms and Dietz would take the lead back on lap 31. Tommy Catalano would take over third place. Dietz would open up the lead and come for the win. Zacharias would finish in second and was followed to the line by Tommy Catalano, Mike Fiebelkorn Jr, and Amy Catalano would complete the top five.
