HOLLAND, NY… The Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex is excited and proud to announce it donated 250 admission tickets for its May 30th Military and Family Appreciation Night at the Races to recently returned service members from Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. To show the tremendous support the track has for the fearless men and women defending our great nation, track General Manager Tim Bennett and Sales and Marketing Manager Daniel Sellon personally delivered the donation to the VA Hospital on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo, NY Friday, May 15th at 10am. Several representatives from the VA Hospital will be on hand to receive the donation as well as many service members and their families. Adding to the excitement of the donation will be a race car and driver from one of the Holland Speedway’s competitor teams.
The roar of the “Thunder in the hills” will be returning to the historic Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex when the 56th consecutive season of racing gets underway on Saturday May 23. As part of the Opening Day festivities sponsored by McKinley Mall, the INEX Legends will be joining the action-packed racing card that also features the Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Modifieds, Seneca Niagara Casino Late Models, Bank of Holland Chargers, Howdy’s Hornets, Future 4’s, NYPA TQ Midgets and the M&M U Pull-It Figure 8’s. The pre-season thunder Practice Session will be taking place on Saturday May 16 from 12-4pm.
